Options provides affordable veterinary care to those who cannot otherwise afford it for their pet. No beloved pet should be surrendered to a shelter or euthanized for purely economic reasons.

Options treats dogs, cats, and occasionally, other small pets. Services include preventive medicine, diagnosis and treatment for illnesses and injuries (including surgical intervention when this is the best option), dental care, spay/neuter, and client education.

Veterinarian Assistant

 

Are pets your passion? Do you get excited about lifesaving excellence? Are you interested in a career that is meaningful? If you answered yes, Options Veterinary Care is the next career move for you!

 

You'll assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing compassionate medical care and treatment for animals, and exceptional customer service to clients. The assistant also helps in the performance of medical and surgical procedures, with exam room appointments, and with animal handling and restraint, among other responsibilities. The nonprofit clinic treats dogs, cats, and other small pets.

Experience working in a veterinary clinic and working knowledge of current veterinary practices are desired but not required. Compensation and benefits are competitive.
