Some of Northern Nevada’s homeless have animals, but cannot afford to keep their pets healthy. Thanks to a partnership with Options Veterinary Clinic and the Eddy House, it's now easier for homeless youth to get the care they need.
The first appointment of this partnership will be Tuesday, January 19, when a young man named Matthew Byrom will get a rabies shot and other vaccinations for his dog Mocha at the Options Clinic.
